The English School Project

This program provides the 50 school-aged children with instruction in English at Newtown School. Older children also take computer class. Each child has a sponsor in the US who covers the cost of tuition and supplies.

The Basic Needs Fund

We know that children cannot learn if they are hungry or sick. We provide food, medical care and other needs identified by Pol Sok Ly and our staff in Cambodia. For example: we provide $200 a month to purchase rice for the 75 children of Kompong Speu. Contributions of any amount go a long way to help the children.

The University Fund

We currently send four students to University in Phnom Penh and one to technical school for mechanics.  Our goal is to make a college or technical education available to all who desire it. A full sponsorship for this program is $1000 per year and includes tuition, housing, living expenses, and a computer.

In the coming years, we anticipate that more students from Kompong Speu will complete high school and pass the entrance exam for university or decide to take technical training.  As we receive the list of eligible children, we contact sponsors to help make a plan for higher education.
